GSK's epilepsy research prize awarded to CMBN scientist Janniche Hammer

CMBN scientist Janniche Hammer has been awarded GlaxoSmithKline's prize for epilepsy research.

Anders Jahre awards to Ole Petter Ottersen and Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam

CMBN scientists Ole Petter Ottersen and Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam will be awarded Anders Jahre's prizes for 2008, along with professor Jussi Taipale of the University of Helsinki, according to a press release from the University of Oslo. Ottersen will be awarded the medical prize for his work on signal molecules and water channels of the brain.
